Premier League official makes major decision involving Arsenal and Man City ahead of final day

Premier League chief executive Richard Masters will attend Arsenal’s clash against Everton at the Emirates Stadium on the final day, as uncertainty swirls over where the title will be awarded.

Arsenal sit in second place, two points adrift of leaders Manchester City. The Gunners can still snatch the title, but require a win and a favorable result from West Ham, who travel to the Etihad Stadium to face City.

If Arsenal win and City draw, goal difference could come into play, with Arsenal holding the advantage.

A win for Arsenal and a loss for City would hand the Gunners the title by a single point. However, City’s victory would secure them a historic fourth consecutive title.

Preparations are underway for a possible trophy presentation at both grounds after the final whistle. According to The Athletic, Masters will be present at the Emirates Stadium to potentially hand out the trophy if Arsenal wins.

At the Etihad, Premier League chair Alison Brittain, who will be attending the match, is likely to be involved in the presentation if City emerges victorious.

The possibility of a frosty reception for any Premier League delegation at the Etihad exists, given Manchester City’s ongoing financial fair play charges.

The stakes are incredibly high as both teams battle for ultimate glory. The coming weekend will determine the champion and write another chapter in Premier League history.
