Manchester City secures convincing victory over Luton Town -reports

Manchester City exhibited dominance against Luton Town, claiming a comprehensive victory with a final scoreline of 5-1 at the Etihad Stadium. Despite a solitary own goal by Luton’s Daiki Hashioka early in the game, City showcased relentless attacking prowess throughout the match.

Erling Haaland, Manchester City’s star striker, showcased his prowess with a goal from the penalty spot in the 76th minute, extending his team’s lead. Mateo Kovacic added to the tally with a stunning goal from outside the box in the 63rd minute, further solidifying City’s control over the game.

Jeremy Doku and Josko Gvardiol also found the back of the net for City in the closing stages of the match, ensuring a convincing victory for Pep Guardiola’s side. Despite a late consolation goal from Ross Barkley for Luton Town in the 81st minute, City’s dominance remained unchallenged.
