Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has responded to Roy Keane’s recent criticism in a subtle manner. Keane called Haaland a “spoilt brat” during Sky Sports’ Super Sunday coverage after the Norwegian’s reaction to being substituted during City’s 5-1 victory over Wolves.

Haaland, who scored four goals in the match, seemed frustrated when he was taken off in the second half. However, Guardiola later explained that Haaland’s animated behavior was due to a number of fouls that were not given against him.

Despite not addressing Keane’s comments directly, Haaland broke his social media silence by posting a picture of a beach sunset with the caption “Peace” on his Instagram story. This post appears to reflect a calm and composed response to Keane’s remarks.

Previously, Keane had also critiqued Haaland’s general play, comparing him to a “League Two player” in terms of his skillset. However, Haaland’s focus on his performance in matches and his response to critics shows his confidence and resilience.

Haaland’s social media post suggests he is unbothered by the comments, preferring to maintain a peaceful outlook amid the criticism.
