Premier League club, strongly speculated to be Chelsea, has reportedly made a significant offer of over £50 million for Palmeiras wonderkid Estevao Willian.

This development has put Manchester United and Manchester City behind in the pursuit of the talented Brazilian.

Palmeiras has been known for producing exceptional young talents recently. Estevao Willian, dubbed as the ‘Brazilian Messi’ during his time in Cruzeiro’s academy, is the latest gem to attract attention.

Despite being just 16 years old, he has already made his professional debut for Palmeiras and has shown promise with his playing style reminiscent of Lionel Messi.

An unnamed Premier League club, believed to be Chelsea, has reportedly offered €40 million (£34.1 million) plus $20 million (£17 million) in bonuses to secure Willian’s services.

However, Palmeiras is reluctant to accept this offer as they believe the player’s value will continue to rise, considering his potential and contract situation.

Chelsea, Manchester United, and Manchester City have all been linked with Willian, but Chelsea seems to be the frontrunner in the race for his signature.

However, Chelsea’s transfer activity has raised concerns about breaching profit and sustainability rules, potentially necessitating player sales before further acquisitions.

The bidding war for Willian’s services is expected to intensify in the near future, with several top European clubs vying for his signature.

Despite the competition, Willian’s future destination remains uncertain as negotiations continue between clubs and Palmeiras.

Overall, Willian’s emergence as a sought-after talent highlights the growing interest in young Brazilian players and their potential impact on European football.
