Ex-Man City star hospitalised with chest pains




Former Manchester City  striker Carlos Tevez was admitted to an Argentinian hospital after experiencing chest pains.

Tevez, who currently manages Argentinian club Independiente, spent the night at La Trinidad Sanatorium in Buenos Aires.Initial test results were described as ‘satisfactory,’ and Tevez will continue with further exams as part of a general check-up.

Independiente stated that Tevez would remain hospitalized as a precaution until the necessary studies are completed.


Tevez’s tenure as Independiente’s manager has seen the club finish sixth in Group A of Argentina’s top flight, with the second phase of the season starting next month.

Tevez played for both Manchester United and Manchester City during his football career, winning several titles with both clubs.

He joined West Ham United in 2006 and played for United from 2007 to 2009, winning two Premier League titles and the Champions League. Tevez later moved to Manchester City, winning the FA Cup and Premier League title.


He continued his career in Italy with Juventus and eventually retired in 2021. Tevez’s current condition is being monitored, and his recovery is being closely watched. Everyone at ManchesterWorld wishes him a speedy recovery.
