Manchester City is gearing up for a Premier League match against Brighton this week, but may face the game without key players Erling Haaland and John Stones due to injury concerns.

Haaland suffered a muscle injury during the Champions League match against Real Madrid and was subsequently sidelined for the FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea.

His availability for the upcoming match remains uncertain, with manager Pep Guardiola indicating the injury may not be serious but not confirming a return date.

Similarly, John Stones was substituted at halftime during the match against Chelsea, but it is unclear whether this was due to an injury or a tactical decision.

His fitness for the game against Brighton has not been confirmed, and Guardiola is expected to provide further updates on Stones’ status this week.

City will be hoping to secure another three points against Brighton to maintain their position in the Premier League title race and keep their chances of a domestic double alive
