De Bruyne double leads Manchester City to victory over Crystal Palace – report

Manchester City secured a thrilling 4-2 victory over Crystal Palace, thanks to a stunning performance by Kevin De Bruyne. The win helped Pep Guardiola’s side draw level on points with Liverpool at the top of the Premier League table.

Crystal Palace took an early lead through Jean-Philippe Mateta’s goal, but De Bruyne equalized with a remarkable strike just 10 minutes later.

The first half ended 1-1, but City dominated the second half, with goals from Rico Lewis, De Bruyne again, and Erling Haaland.

Although Odsonne Edouard scored a late goal for Palace, it wasn’t enough to stage a comeback. De Bruyne’s exceptional display, particularly in the absence of Phil Foden, who was rested for the game, showcased his importance to the team.

The victory further solidifies Manchester City’s title credentials, with De Bruyne leading the charge in midfield. City’s depth and quality were on full display, highlighting their determination to reclaim the Premier League crown.

Despite Crystal Palace’s spirited performance, City’s attacking prowess proved too much to handle. With De Bruyne at the heart of their midfield, Manchester City sent a strong message to their title rivals as they continue their pursuit of Premier League glory.
